Crepe Myrtle


Here's some photos of my mum's Crepe Myrtle which is blossoming right now, despite the 113 degrees heat! I looked up to post a reference, and found that they do tolerate the heat nicely....

The crepe myrtle also known as crape myrtle is of the Lagerstroemia species and belongs to the Lythraceae family. This deciduous tree is a favorite in southern gardens blooming most of the summer and tolerating its heat.

You can also see her Huge Lavenders and a Purple Plum Tree, which blooms beautiful pink flowers for a short time in the spring.
